Client Goals – Gain “an edge” in their market by providing high levels of service to major retailers across USA. Minimize retailer chargebacks. Provide accurate, real time inventory status and order tracking.

Touchpoint Solution - Floor loaded ocean containers (500 per year) from the Far East are delivered to Touchpoint’s DC. Containers are unloaded, product is palletized, stretch wrapped and counted. Receipt is confirmed with client.
While product is in storage client inquires on inventory status over the Internet. The entire inventory is cycle counted every 90 days. Outbound order requests are received by Touchpoint via EDI flat files. Orders are picked, packed and shipped same day. Routing is performed by a Touchpoint dedicated customer service member. Discounted transportation is provided through Touchpoint when consignee does not control the routing. Inquiries are satisfied by the same staff member. Order tracking is performed via the Internet. ASN’s are sent to retailers as orders are shipped. Some orders require assembly of in-store corrugated displays. Touchpoint assembles the displays, loads product into the display and packages the display suitable for shipment. Shrink wrapping is provided when needed. When product is returned, the good product is separated from non-sellable and the return is reported to the client. Non-sellable product is reworked and made sellable.

Results – Very high levels of shipping accuracy and on-time shipping. No retailer chargebacks. Accurate inventory assures trusted delivery promises.
